Cool NOS Ford Motorsport B460 Heads and Intakes

HEADS AND INTAKES ARE SOLD

Ford Motorsport B460 heads and intake manifolds, all brand new, old stock, as cast, and never run.

Assembled with brand new Ferrea 2.35" intake and 1.88" exhaust valves, valve springs, retainers, locks, studs, guideplates, etc. Included are not one but two B460 intake manifolds, both also new old stock and as cast. All components complete, as new, and ready to port as you wish and even port each intake manifold for a specific application, etc. Good luck ever finding an all new B460 parts combination like this again. These parts have been sitting idle for decades and so the valve springs should be replaced, but that is to be expected and only supports just how original these heads really are. Was $2500, then $2400, now just $2250 for everything (heads, valve train components, intake manifold #1, intake manifold #2), buyer pays shipping. Sold as is.

Please call or email if interested,

Paul

Compared to Ford Motorsport A460 heads of the same era, the B460 heads are i-(snap fingers)-dentical to the A460 heads except the the intake runners of the B460 heads have a raised runner floor (which makes the intake runner volume less). So the B460 head's intake runners are basically the same intake runner roof height as the A460 head but the runner floor has been raised in the B460 head, thereby making for a nice sweeping short turn radius.

The B460 heads were produced by TFS/Ford Motorsport for small-inch racing engines such as might be built for a pulling truck competing in a "470CI and under" class. About 250 sets were made. The B460's intake runners may be ported to that of the A460 runner dimensions and thereby be an A460 head, but that defeats their intended purpose. I was intending to use these on a 500-inch build.

Wow! Bump for a great deal on rare stuff.

I had to look these up and had to look back to my 1987 Ford Motorsports catalog to find them. Again, wow!

Thanks, Former429, indeed this is a rare find and a great deal even compared to todays A-head/A-intake(s) prices. And that's true even without taking into account the rarity of these brand new components.

Cool

Yes, I would consider selling the heads separate from the manifolds. Please call directly if interested.
