FOR SALE 850 HP 460

For Sale 460 Ford. A460 block, P-51 Heads, Victor intake ported by Jon Kaase. Bryant crank, Oliver rods, Diamond coated pistons, Peterson oil pump, T-D Shaft rockers. This engine made 850 HP with 850 Holley carb. Cost 30,000 to build. 15,000 or possible trade for Falcon gasser or pro street Ford. Call Bill @ 315 416-2870

Going by the 850 holley im guessing "class rules".

Some of the best parts used in this engine.......well built IMO

460ci.... 850hp= 1.84 hp per cubic inch, pretty darn good!!

That's it Bob. This engine is in a Northeast DIRT Modified 468 ci max. The Chevys in this class are $50,000 to $60.000. We turn this engine 8,500 rpm. You can build one cheaper, but I try to use the best people and parts I can afford. Were the only Ford powered car out there, I what to run the best we can. Thanks for your well thought out response.
