What are you using for headers with those aluminum SCJ heads?
I'm contemplating just building mine, I've found stainless flanges specifically for the SCJ-A/B at SPD exhaust in case you were going the same route.

The last set of headers that I built already had the cobra jet flanges. I'm just waiting on the new converter to show up so that I can start to assemble.
I'm holding off on the E85 this year due to a few unexpected purchases on this build. I just need to recondition the carb and upgrade a couple of fuel lines.
I still need to pick up Innovates LC2 and install. I do plan on having it at Milan this summer...I plan on hitting a few of the No ET events and maybe even the Ford event coming up.

I bought fittings from prowerks and had them installed in my new valve covers. I had the valve covers powder coated in a wrinkle finish.

It's been pretty hectic around here for the past couple of months, but the mustang is finally coming together.

Been hoping to see this new combo up and running. Looks real good. Kinda wondering what the hood clearance was going to be now.

I definitely need to cut the hood and install a different scoop, or invest in an H.O. Fibertrends hood. Without the drop base air cleaner base, the air filter will be about 2-2 1/2" above the hood.

Are you running a stock or tubular K- member ? Did you invest in any K member spacers? I believe a 2" will take care of that problem..
I plan on running a motor plate with my (identical) setup...one of these days I might actually be around enough to put it all together.

I'm running with the stock k-member with 2" spacers. It looks like with the victor intake, it may only sit 1-1 1/2" above the hood. There's only one way to find out though.

Sounding good. Cant wait to see how it runs now with the changes you made. I once had a 81 coupe with that 82 GT hood scoop(yep I cut a hole in the hood lol). Was spoze to be a big block car as I already had a 90 5.0 Stang But life got in the way and it ended up with a low compression 351W(low 12's on 87 octane). Both cars went away 10+ yrs ago(life again). You car is making me get fired up again. Love the "4 eyed" fox Stangs.

Sounds awesome, what kind of mufflers you use, and how big.
