Twin Turbo F100 “pork chop”

Many of you might remember my white blown alcohol F100.

Once we built our new Altered, I had planned to make the F100 pro street. That fell through because the truck was not at all comfortable to drive with the cage and set back firewall and the body was less than par. Truck was sold.

Pics of truck and altered for reference. Truck was a blown 532 on alcohol. Altered is a blown Boss Hemi on alcohol

I was able to find the cherry 71’ F100, one family owner, original SWB 302 truck.

Of course I couldn’t leave it alone for more than 5 minutes.

Immediately tore the cab and clip off to remove the I beam suspension and swap in a CV front suspension.
Figured while I’m there we might as well box the frame, notch it and do four link and coil overs. Only seems right, right?

Scored a great looking 69 grill and 66 mustang bucket seats for $350

Truck sits on vision wheels which are 18x8.5 and 20x9.5 wheels
Then for Friday night grocery runs we have some 15x10’s on Mickey Thompson drag radials

Four link and panhard by ride tech
AFCO coil overs
Yukon 3.25 case, 4.11 gears, 5x4.5 axles and rear disc brakes all from Quick Performance.
Yes that’s a spool, I like to party and drive with two hands in the rain.

Fuel cell and battery are all mounted in the rear between the frame rails.

Transmission is an E4OD with 4R100 hard parts and an MSD atomic stand alone controller.

Now for the engine.
Don’t have any current pics. Switched from the dominator to EFI and turbos.

69’ 429 block
Scat lightweight forged crank
Kasse oil pump
Scat H beam rods
Diamond pistons
Innovators West balancer
Meszier water pump
SCJ heads
Scorpion rockers
Crane stud girdles
Custom grind comp cam (getting changed)
Lunati roller lifters (getting changed)
Victor 460 intake
QFT Dominator

Now adding:
Holley EFI
New cam (undecided)
New lifters (undecided)
Twin GT45 1.05AR turbos
Two 60mm turbosmart wastegates
50mm turbosmart BOV

Hoping to get 1500 HP out of it and then back it down for driving without going to jail or pushing the crank out the pan.

With the '69 grille and the '69 engine block one could say that this was the Super Cobra Jet truck that Ford should have made but didn't.

Thanks!

Changed some things up.

Decided to go with a large single instead of twin turbos.

Ordered an On3 performance 107mm with billet wheel along with two wastegates and two blow off valves.

Should be fun

Not sure on the dish.

These rods and pistons came out of my moms pumpgas motor when we bumped her CR up and went to alcohol injection.

Same stroke crank, same cylinder heads, CR was 10.5:1

Plan is to run low boost, 8-10 PSI for now.
We’re planning on putting an aluminum block in her car next winter so I’ll take her 4 bolt DOVE block and throw everything from this motor into that for a little peace of mind.

I may lay the hammer to it on the dyno just to see what kind of power it can make, but I know it won’t do it continually without eating bearings and taking the caps for a walk.

Pic of me driving my moms car with the alcohol injection this year.

Just guessing the pistons are 22 dish so with the SCJ's you're looking at the middle 10's compression wise. Not much room for boost IMO...Your Mom's car. Gotta love it. My mom would be crouching in the parking lot with her hands over her ears which is excusable,I guess, when you're over 90.

Black Friday was busy for this truck.

Picked up two VS Racing billet 75mm T4 1.10 AR turbos which should be here next week.

Also purchased my Holley sniper dominator EFI which showed up yesterday.

Thumbs up

Herd nothing but good things about the stealth sniper 4500 efi system.

Nice build by the way, looking good.

Cheers, Bob
