Ran the fuel line and wiring for fuel pump and sending unit down the frame today.

Also mocking up the filters, pump and regulator. I mounted them on a 5”x24” piece of 1/4” aluminum. The plate will be bolted to some studs that I will weld onto the tank straps, that way it’s tucked away nicely, and below the fuel as recommended. Used Holley’s filter regulator so I don’t have to run a return from the engine back. Now it is right at the tank, Return will be about 16” long. I will be welding a -6 male flare into the lower portion of the tank for the pickup. I will be repurposing the original pickup tube as the return with a 3/8 compression fitting to a -6 AN male flare.

Looks great so far! A true frame off restoration. I'll be following your progress. I love the old Galaxies but I think the 66 & 67 Fairlanes are my favorite. Keep at it. Nice job!!

Thanks, biggest hurdle I just ran into was realizing the factory ac wasnt going to fit, so now it’s time to fit a vintage air system in. Removed the plug wire brackets off the valve covers that i’m not using, and covered with some door plate badges. I like the way that turned out. More to come.
