I have one on my driveshaft. In third gear it shows torque converter slippage well.

Input shaft rpm would slow slippage in each gear. Not sure how useful the info would be but do it and let us know.

I have one installed on the drive shaft. Years ago I had a RPM sensor on the input shaft on a cluch car. made it easey to see clutch slip. I thought it would be useful to see torkconverter slip and any slip that maybe in the clucth packs. Just not sure where to put it. I got the idea when I was rebuliding a 5r110w trans for my powerstroke it has sensors one two deffrent drums.
