Plugs on c6 trans

Can anyone tell me what these two plugs are for on a C6 transmission?

Small plug (furthest forward) is trans fluid line pressure port. The other is for intermediate band adjustment.

Yeah, it's a hybrid...It burns gas and tires.

No matter how good she looks somebody, somewhere is tired of her sh#t.

Sweet thanks. Could the pressure port be used for a sending unit for a temperature gauge or would it be better and more accurate to T into the line leaving the transmission?

Best place for temp is in the pan , neither of those places will really give a nice average temp

Another option is the outbound fluid cooling line.

That will give a reading but not really an average of overall temp.. You might actually get worried at the temps after the converter

Not really plug related but is there a difference on internal parts or anything on a 2wd vs 4wd C6. Planning on rebuilding the trans but didn’t get the 4wd kit. Does the 4wd kit just have parts for the transfer case and is there anything I need to be aware of when removing the transfer case from the tail housing?

Not sure exactly what transfer case , you may need a gasket where t/case joins to trans

Internal parts are the same

You may need the correct filter if you have a 4x4 pan , there are 3 different C6 filters , you need the correct one based on what pan you have
