Will an 8.8 out of a 1995 mustang work in a 1984 mustang?

Thumbs up

Should work but the 95 Mustangs rearends are 3/4" wider on each side than the 79-93 Mustangs IIRC.

Later Mark.

Send a message via MSN to Blackcoupe
You will still be fine with wheel selection, just add the extra width into the equation when you are figuring out backspacing. IIRC you'll need one different fitting on the back and you might want to grab the master cylinder(I think the booster is smaller, it's been a long time since I've done that swap but I did on a 20th anniv car I had) and porportioning valve out of the same car if you can.
