What size slicks?

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for slick size on my 67 mustang project. It's a 3100 # all steel car with a 4-linked tube chassis. 598" blown on gas and should make 1,000-1,200 HP. right now I have Mickey Thompson 15-29-18.5. Should I try to get the largest slick I can under the car or stay a little small due to tire growth during burnout or something else i don't know about. Right now the car sits real low and the rear fenders were "rolled" to make sure the rubber cleared. Thanks for any input, Steve

Honestly without looking at the car in person you won't be able to tell. I know Percy's makes a "wheelrite" tire simulator to figure out wheel diameters, widths, and tire profiles.
