You truck guys... Leaf springs?

66 Mercury 1/2 Ton, 466, 550-600 H.P. Going to run a C-6, 9", CalTraks, and a Line lock, haven't decided on a trans. brake yet

What are you guys running for leaf springs? Mono leafs? Leaf packs? Do you run the conventional rear shackle? Axle over or under leaf spring? Never built a truck before, not sure where to go on this budget race truck.

What kind of racing?

If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space!

I'm retarded... Drag racing. Going to run it on the street every so often as well.

Thanks.

How low do you want the truck to sit? If it were mine, spring under axle, mono-leaf with sliders on the rear, ladder bars and 50-50 shocks with a real light coil-over spring.

Thanks for your help, I'm new to the game.

I want the truck to sit high enough to clear a wider drag slick... Right now with 31x10.5-15's the tires tuck into the wheel well some.

Rear sliders? Haven't seen that. Got any info?

Bill Day Motorsports, fairly in-expensive and a nice up-grade.
