carb trouble

Who on this planet can help with a car that runs up and down? Two passes in a row is about all I can get it to do,then it slows down 3to5 hundreds.I feel like it is fuel problem, the small block maveric my wife drives is just as bad.I'am not a carb tuner,I sent one to be set up for the car[small block car]it won't run on anything now.Point me in the right direction.please.............

Does temp seem to matter?

If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space!
