Around #70lbs total. Doves will make as much power as procomps smallvalve non ported heads exspecially with the smaller chambers. Doves have made well over 700hp max ported and 600 with big valves an moderate port lob, Tfs streets will be a little better stock then max ported doves, SCJ and P51 a step better, best i can do with such a general question.., ED

More info on combo

Sorry, my combo goes 10.25 @ 130 MPH
2880 LBS with me in, race ready fox body Mustang Coupe ladder bars.
12 point Chrome molly sportsman cage
29.5 x 10.5 MT slicks stiff sidewall
4.11 gears Shift at 6000 and cross line at 6500 (how would 3.89 work?)
466 w/ H-beam rods, solid lifter cam about 630 lift
DOVE heads w/ mild port
Roller rockers
2" prim 4.5" collector headers
Stealth intake w/ 1050 Dom
MSD dizzy
C-6 manual valve body foot brake
Aluminium drive shaft

If I were to switch heads I would look at a roller cam.
Thanks for the advise

I guessing doves with small valves and bowl blend and exhuast work, then i would say some trickflow streets should be worth 2 tenths out of box, more with a bigger cam , say 265 At 050.

Try less gear, it might surprise you.

You should also try using a victor manifold with a carb spacer.

New #s

The weather has made some improvements to track times.
Best:
60" 139, average is 1.45 The 1.39 came out of no where?
1/8 6.47 @105
1/4 10.20 @ 131
Again, I was thinking of 3.89 gear switch for the winter. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Gears

What advice on gears?
Will Victor intake and spacer work with 4.11 or lower gears?
Thanks

With the victor and spacer the 4.11 will work and you will gain more top end power, try shifting at 6500. Remeber shift 500rpm past the peak power.
