Methanol & Mufflers

I'm fitting exhaust to car.Car runs on methanol.
I was talking to a guy about it & told me to drill some small holes in mufflers so methanol doesn't pool up inside & cause a fire.
Any one done this ?
Cheers

Need to have exhaust system.
Unburnt methanol can sit in mufflers.

Why not tune it where you don't have raw fuel pouring down your exhaust?

Damn Curt, now there's a thought!

If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space!
