AN Hose for my OBERG oil filter

I am building a 532 alcohol Injected bbf for my 2wd pulling truck, and should dyno close to 900hp. i will be running a 6 inch Oberg Oil filter. the oberg has -12an inlet/outlet. i was told by a few people that i might not want to run -12an hose. and that i should adapt down to -10an hose. there will only be about 1.5 feet of hose going from the oil adapter on the block, to the oberg, then another 1.5 feet back to the block adapter. My feelings are that i should just stay with the -12an hose, and not adapt it down to the -10an... figured i would get some opinions. What say You?

Here's. Some thoughts on this. What size fitting is in the pump. What size fitting is in the block.
On mine it's a -an 12 on both. Why would you reduse it to a -10 in the filter.

The older I get the less I seem to know.
