msd with unilite ?

yes i am finally switching over from my mallory hyfire spare box to my msd 7 al box with a 8251 coil but im gonna stick with the unilite dizzy for now and am wondering if i should still wire up my power filter that i have that is suppossed to save the electronics in the dizzy if there is a spike for some reason, thats what i was told when i lost one so ive ran it any time i run the unilite. with goign with the unlite with the msd i think u only use two wires the the brown is a ground so idk if the filter will work. just wondering if any one can key in or any info on that filter

I would use the filter - if you already have it. I don't use it on my Unlite with 6AL box.
The Unilite has three wires, one to ground, one to ign+ power and one to the MSD box.

The filter has three wires - it plugs directly into the Unlite connecter. Then you just hook the wires up on the "output" side of the filter to ground, pwr, and MSD box as you would without the filter.
