Inner Fender Splash Shield On A 1993 Foxbody

Do you guys run the plastic inner fender splash shields in the front wheel wells on your strip only cars? I wasn't going to but I have both fuel lines & starter cable coming up into my passenger side wheel well and was wondering if I need to cover that up or not. Thanks in advance.

This is what I'm talking about:

I don't run any on my junk but I also have the front fender aprons cut out of it also. I'm using steel braided line also running out side of my fender well.

Tag and ins it's a street car, how it gets there does it really matter?

Nobody's perfect but if u drive a ford your darn close.

Hey thanks...

I also have braided fuel line. I have the supply & return line strapped together running out of the engine bay and then down the inner wheel well and then to the back along the frame when it reaches the bottom of the wheel well. I just didn't know if it was OK to do it this way per "the rules". But with that being said I don't think the little plastic splash guards would do much to stop anything serious that wanted to come through it and get to those lines. It just all looks kind of exposed to me so I wanted to ask before I just showed up at the track hoping for the best.
