Electric Fuel Pump Location

I have a 78 Mercury Zephyr that I plan to run in the 10 second zone at NHRA sanctioned tracks.

The car will also be street driven.

I want to know if it is against drag racing rules (NHRA) to install the fuel pump in the trunk alongside the fuel cell?

The line itself will exit the trunk and run along the outside of the frame rails and up to the engine.

Any commets would be welcome.

Thanks

Found the answer in the NHRA Rule book.

Yes you can. As long as there is a fire break between the fuel system and the driving compartment.

Fuel system must be inside the body or frame rails and separated from the driver compartment.

Just google the NHRA rulebook.
