convert QF carb to annular boosters

Hi guys and a Happy New Year,

did anyone of you ever convert a QuickFuel carburetor (in my case the Q-950) from down-leg to annular boosters? I donīt know if the boosters would fit directly or if more things are different on the Q-950 or Q-950-AN carb.
I canīt call QuickFuel before monday and I would need an answer as soon as possible.

Thanks
Franz

Quick Fuel makes a 950 annular booster carb. Might be easier to just buy the main body from them rather than convert what you have. Also, retrofitting the main body you have might result in a carb that flows less than 950 cfm due to the increased obstruction of the larger annular booster.

Yes I know theyīre offering a Q-950-AN but I would get a cheap deal on a Q-950 with down-leg boosters so I thought about converting them to a annular booster version.

thanks
