Truck headers?

Are there any différents in truck headers from2wheel and 4wheel? I seen some listings for 4x4 headers on the older stuff but not 80-96 f series

I think most headers are inside the frame so they have to clear the front driveshaft. The outside the frame headers should work, they would just have to clear the coil and shock mounts. Also some require body lifts to clear the headers. As far as brands I've used L&L's and Maddog's. The Maddog's gave a friend 90 hp over the L&L's. Of course that was a 4x4 with 700 hp.

Usually, 2wd headers are longer and go lower than 4x4 headers, so they interfere with the transfer case and the driveshaft.
