Paddle tires

Looking to get some bigger diggers for the ranger.
What kind of information do you use to select how many paddles one needs on the tires?

Going to use a 36" casing

Too funny,
That's one of the pages I was on. Just wanted to have all the info before I called them up.

Has anybody gone from X amount of paddles down to Y amount of paddles. Or the other way? What were your reasons?

I don't want to kill too much wheel speed so I am thinking maybe less paddles on the casing-but then is there going to be enough traction gain?
