1977 Summer Nats Diamond-P vid!!!

Came across this video surfing Youtube today. Awsome video!! Makes me realize how much I dislike today's professional camera models, opps I mean professional product pushers, opps I mean drivers. And the biggest and best part.....John Lingenfelter driving a FORD POWERED CHEVY MONZA!!! Plus Bob Glidden, Dyno Don, and all those great drivers we grew up with.

That was awsome!! Thanks for posting it. I had a flachback when I saw the Diamond P logo at the beginning of the show. Then their first commercial break had only 1 commercial!! Do you think that would happen today? I don't think so... I loved it. Thanks!!

Also I could not believe how far the cars have come since then. Prostock was running high 8's. I guarantee those cars were not street driven. Now today we have street cars that could go out and beat the snot of of those 1977 prostock machines. Simply amazing how things have progressed since then.
