Talking

in a quarter mile about 300K, for you in the 1/8th 30K or about 1200 hp.. cant just throw it in any car. cage cert. gear, big tires, chute. a 5.70 in the 1/8th translates to a 8.89 in the 1/4. varies a bit depending on car but still it takes a lot.

I'd say around 1,000 flywheel hp. My 2650lb Maverick has ran 5.50s in the 8th and it dynoed 800hp 750ft lbs. 557 on alky. You will need the whole package, trans, converter, gear, and it needs to hook. Not as easy as people think!

557ci 70 Maverick, [email protected] 1.25 60ft.... So far....

I'd say round 30k is bout right after all said and done. Though it will never stop.......always room for improvement! Haha

Like mentioned no matter how much power you have, you have to get it to the ground.
