P51 Head Porting

I'm curious to know the pros and cons to cnc porting a P51 head or any head for that matter as opposed to having a seasoned machinist hand port them. I do understand cnc is more consistent.

The pros would be consistencey, the cons are who came up with the program. A dummy can program the cnc machine to cut whatever he wants but where it cuts might not be the best decision.
