460 build questions.

Hi guys. Got a question concerning heads. The heads that were on my 460 motor I bought were the DOOR-E super cobra jet heads cast iron. I'm looking to get a set of heads that are aluminum that will bolt on. Any ideas?

P-51 & aluminum SCJ heads have different valve angles when compared to the DOOR-E heads. You may need new pistons or have your existing pistons notched due to the different valve angles. The old aluminum CJ heads have the same valve angles as the DOOR-E heads.

These will bolt on without flycut as far as valve angle. Valve lift, that's another deal.
