Hemi vs. Wedge Shootout

This is an excellent comparison of the two types of heads from Jon with very impressive results. Towards the end, the article mentions "Raised runner variants of Kaase's Boss 9 heads have made 1100 hp". I'd love to see the specs for that engine! It also made me wonder what heads were used for that build? Were they the C&C version or is Jon working on a new max effort Boss head?! That would be great if Jon could keep the price down, considering the C&C version are way out of most people's budgets.

Hemi vs. Wedge Shootout: Jon Kaase settles one of the most fiercely debated topics of all time with the ultimate dyno test.

Thanks for posting this! I guess no one reads this forum? Maybe someone should try posting it in the Engine Tech forum. Either way, Kaase is the man!

Weight

Very interesting read. I have a question, what does a complete Boss 9 head weigh in at including the valves, springs and rockers?
