ProComp heads $1450.00

CarsByCarl is now pleased to offer ProComp cylinder heads built in-house from bare castings with high quality brand name parts.

As many people are aware, complete ProComp heads as-delivered from the factory leave a lot to be desired. By starting with bare castings, we are able to build a set of heads that are far superior to the complete heads being offered by most other retailers. We have improved these heads to such an extent that in back to back testing we found our heads perform on par with Edelbrock aluminum heads. Our customers can be confidant that these heads are ready to run out of the box. You will not find a better combination of value, quality, and performance on the market today.

Complete heads include:
-PC 3051 castings
-Milodon 2.245/1.725 stainless steel valves
-Lunati valvesprings for flat tappet cams
-Lunati steel retainers
-Lunati ten degree locks
-Lunati rocker studs and guideplates +$100.00
-Choice of 5/16 or 3/8 pushrod guideplates
-Proprietary high performance valve job
-Valve guide clearances set to proper spec
-Ported for optimum street/strip performance
-Standard intake port openings for use with most aftermarket non-CJ manifolds
-Exhaust ports require CJ flange headers and gaskets

All for only $1450.00
(Custom options available, call for pricing)

The intended use will be more relevant than the flow numbers as the OP has stated in a street oriented build these would fit the bill.

When to much is just right

As stated in the OP, "In back to back testing we found our heads perform on par with Edelbrock aluminum heads".

I don't quote flow numbers because I don't consider them to be reliable basis for comparison from one location/bench/operator to the another. If you would like further clarification, please feel free to call or email directly.

Absolutely. I've built several engines in the 525-600HP range with these heads. All were hydraulic flat tappet, pump gas combinations.
