Yo K. I have a 76 Mk 4 with a mild build. I dropped 3.25's in her and while she takes off plenty strong now, I did lose some top end. I can run her up to 80/90 at a very unusual rate for such a big heavy car but she's all wound out at that point and starts starving for fuel/air. To tell you the truth, I think 3.50's would be a better set for me as I'd be ok with losing a little of that punch for the sake of lower r's at highway speeds. I am currently awaiting arrival of a 460 Performer (non RPM) intake and an Eddy EPS 800 carb. Very much excited about these parts and can't wait to see how she acts with them. You can see my rig on page 17 of Gallery under Bad Daddy's Hoopdy. Best of luck with your build.
