it ran killer.... until i broke a rod back in may.(over revved it with truck rods my bad)but this engine didnt quit pulling!i ran 12:5.1 comp. no issue except when it gets to be around 60 degrees or less it takes forever to warm up.drive around with fan and water pump off for 20 minutes!im building a 545 as we speak p51s,this one will have 13:0.1 and lots of solid roller cam again. i drove it all over the other draw back was fuel mpg..no kidding around 4to5 mpg but converter was 4000 an a 4.56 gear but these carbs use a lot compared to gas. but its awesome runnin big compression for a lil over 3$ a gal. thanks jon!
