You asked Carl already for help, so just bite the bullet and have him help you get a pair of carbs that you need and a fuel system that can keep up with the demand of the carbs. Don't know where you're getting info on having to turn carbs to cure back bowls running dry?
Using a Victor with a Dominator is better than a tunnel with a Dominator.
The Ford one is a little tough to find. The Chevy Dominator is the same casting and will fit but the some of the bolt holes will have to be elongated.
