Got my new heads from Scott the other day, bolted on and nearly ready to fire the engine. I am very impressed with Scotts work, he's very good to deal with and I would recomend anyone looking to get some head work done to phone him. He's easy to get ahold of and returns calls promptly, something very few people seem to do these days. Can't wait to try these new heads in the mud races!! Thanks for all your help Scott!!
Heres a few pics of the heads, engine and the truck.
Got it started today, still gotta dial everything in, but it runs!! Heres a short clip of the start up. Tach not working in the vid, going through L&L headers, 3" exhaust and V-Force mufflers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6U7d5R0z3A
Just got back from our first race of the year, had to run Pro Stock class at this one cause they split there classes different so we were the smallest truck in that class. Running 39.5" boggers against a bunch of 44s, tractor tires and 1 set of 48" terras...STILL CAME OUT IN 3RD!!! The truck ran awsome, I never opened the hood the whole weekend till just before we went into the finals. I opened it and there was a swarm of competitors around the truck to see just what it was that was getting this truck to keep up with the big boys HAHA. But alas, we still want more...now we need a bigger cam, victor intake and dommy carb, but we'll wait till the end of the season to tear it down.
actually that was in Fort St. John, Teepee Creek is june 28-29th, can't wait. Good luck Mark, give'm hell!!
