These cranks are part of the Lunati's sledgehammer line.

After further discussion with my rep at Lunati, it appears the cranks are machined in the USA from foreign forgings. No word on when a 4.500 crank will be available.
My rep at Lunati told me there was a legthy review of forgings from several suppliers. I think Lunati has a real eye on quality now that they're independantly owned again. I would expect the new cranks to be right up there with the best available.
I guess that means I shouldved went with a Lunati crank.
