I noticed that Damon was giving away awards at the last bash so i thought maybe there could be a "most improved racer" or "Most improved car" or something to that effect and let everybody Vote on the winner. To qualify to Vote you must have attended the last Bash or whatever peramiters you feel would work.
just a thought because a lot of the guys have made a lot of improvments to there cars and towing rigs.
yea nick, i would think it would give some incentive for a lot of the guys to improve there cars. maybe spray some paint over grey primer , you know things like that.....
I am working on improvements as we speak I hope to have it painted but first things first. if it happens ok if not it won't make it go faster so as time allows it will come around...
Can't wait till the Bash to see all My friends there, and have a blast

I agree paint don't make it go any faster. I'd rather be racing than sitting in the garage looking at a nice painted car with no motor, which right now I'm doing neither! There was a guy in Minnesota that refused to paint his sprint car, as he figured it would add something like 21 lbs to his car. The hood and wing was bare aluminum, and the fuel cell was the dull pinkish color, with just the car number on it.
I've got a set of 8 429 factory flat top pistons/rods if that'll help. The pistons are still pressed to the rods. I can heve them pressed off if you want to use them for the awards.

I've got one melted piston but I'm making my own plaque with that one. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some twisted rods. Those would be perfect for the hard luck award!!
