I have a 68 model ford big block. It is a casting C8VE-F. The block is .080 over with 20 passes at the strip on it. It is filled with hard block to the bottom of the pump holes. It has BILLIT 4 bolt splayed caps on the three center mains and ARP studs for all the mains. There is some cap walk on the mains. I am asking $500 for the block as it is and all you have to do is use it as is or have the mains millled and line honed. Or if you want my machinist to fix the mains and have a fresh dingleberry hone on the cylinders. I am asking $850. The block can be used as is for a street pump gas motor or have it fixed for a race motor. It was originally a 533 cu in a true 10.5 mustang that went 5.30's in the 1/8. Other than the cap walk which is fixable, the block is in excellent condition. There is no ring ridge at the top of the cylinders. Here are some pics in my cragslist ad. The pic of the cap walk is the worst one. http://dallas.craigslist.org/pts/465589523.html
