Hey everyone i posted a while back when I picked up a 429 and found a 1968 Ford galaxie for sell offered the guy 2500 for it what are your guys thoughts is this a good starting point and worth the money for the build? And does it for a 1970 429? Thanks guys for your thoughts. And if anyone has a similar galaxie can you drop some pics so I can see it fixed up?

Not sure it is worth $2500.00
It does look very rough - but decent enough if one is getting rid of interior for a race only build.
I bought mine for $550.00 (a long time ago) and it was in quite good shape (picture is after paint)

You’re cars so clean! Very nice! What do they go for he was asking 4K for it. I haven’t really been able to find much

Anything comparable listed in Hemmings?

What will a full resto cost? And what is the car worth afterwards? (Most likely not a good financial investment per se.)

However... it looks like a great starting point for a weekend cruiser with the occasional trip down a 1/4 mile!!! Nice find.

If it has a clean title, if it starts and can be driven onto a trailer, and you have the funds to play with... you got a good project.
