Hello, I have a 460/C6 setup in my E350 and when taking off all of the vacuum ports, etc. to take the carb off to replace the accelerator pump, I noticed a metal line with a NPT fitting that connects from a plate on the intake manifold to the carb itself on the passenger side. The plate is connected to the intake via 2 bolts and there were two lines coming from it. The metal, female NPT line looks like it connects to a male fitting on the body of the choke on the carburetor. Anyway, both the male and female NPT fittings are completely stripped out and the metal line snapped off of the plate on the intake due to extreme rust. I have no idea what it is and I can't find any info online to point me in the direction of replacement parts. So if you know what this is, let me know. I'm fairly new to Ford stuff and have scoured this forum and can't find anything either. Ill try to include a picture to show you guys and maybe I'll finally be pointed in the right direction. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I was honestly thinking about that. I saw a kit on eBay that was the choke body and the thermo-spring

An OEM carb as pictured already has an electric choke.

Oh ok. Why does it have a stove choke tube connected to the intake manifold then? Im genuinely curious because I have had vehicles with both mechanical and electric chokes and the electric chokes I have dealt with only have a positive wire and a ground wire coming from the choke body.
