Hey guys want to change brakes on the rear and it seems you need a spanner wrench or socket with prongs?? Anyone know what part number or were I can buy this wrench or socket.Thanks Bob

Check the tools section of the local autoparts store. They usually have the sockets. There are 2 or 3 diffferent sizes that I can think of right now. Lot of guys with 4wd use them on the front hubs.

Rear Axle Nut

On the trcuk rear axle you take the cover off and gasket.Then there is a flange or nut and excuse my mouth but steal indents for 4 bumps or tits I call them.I have called the idiots at the Ford Dealer and of course bring it in.Yeah right.KD Tool has them but I don't know which one it is.Gys thanks for replying and helping out.Have a good time at your BBF Bash.

X2 on what Info said, just take off the wheel and back off the brakes and pull off the drum. Only need to pull the hub if you need to replace the seal. Only exception is if by chance this truck has a D60 or D70 rear axle. Highly unlikely but possible.
