In order to post one needs to register on the site.

Diamond Pistons Big Block Bash

As you can see, the registration has been split into different options for those that wish to race, T&T or spectate. The Registration fee includes the Weekend Pass - Friday, Saturday and Sunday AND includes catered meal from Texas Roadhouse on Saturday and a BBF event T-shirt!

The racing fees are for T&T, Pro and Super Pro. Now where I race this is the same fees that we pay for racing in Modified & Top ET classes but with better payouts.

Don't forget the sponsors that have come on board for EXTRAT goodies to various winners and participants! i.e. Diamond Pistons, Ford Racing, Jomar, BF Evans Race Parts, Evans Racing Engines, Comp Cams etc........ Details are still in the works but we know some of the sponsors via the previous posts from Charlie, Lem and Phillip.

I'll see if I can find some way to track the registered participants with my updated e-mail messages to those on the contact list.

Get to wrenching guys (Like I need to do), April will soon approach!

Seems to be a little confusion about registration which is perfeclty understandable.

I guess that I am confused about exactly how
much I need to send in to pre-register. I have seen everything from 50 bucks
per person to 50 + XXXXX for racing "PRO" or XXXX for racing???? I really
want to pre-register but somehow I don't have a clue how much money I need
to send in because I have no idea what classes we will be offered to run and
so forth. Some one need to take the time to post on the site and explain to
dummies like me exactly what is going on and how much it will cost. I have
been waiting for that magic post but so far I have missed it I guess and
time is running out. Can you help with details?? The site jumps around so
much and talks about some many things that it is hard to put 2 and 2
together.

No problem buddy! For each person that wishes to attend the BBF nationals then it will be $50 each. So if you and Five of your friends are coming then it would be a total of 6 people at $50 each which comes to $300. Please include the T-shirt size for EACH person that wishes to attend. If you want to T&T on Friday then add another $10. If you wish to race Pro Class on Saturday morning then add another $40. However you are racing Super Pro or 'BOX' class Saturday morning,so you will need to add $60. Now later on Saturday evening if you want to race with the regular program and the quick 16 Ford vs the World then you will need to buy a card at the track when the regular program starts, around 4PM or so.

So now I have a total of $370 for you and your Five friends, including T&T on Friday & Super Pro class on Saturday morning. If you don't want to T&T on Friday then deduct $10. ;-)

Hope this helps ;-)

I'll post this on the forum as well for the others.

If you guys have any quesitons please feel free to ask.

Thanks!

Pre-Registered passes

A question was asked about Pre-Registered passes

Damon,

What do we need to bring to the gate to show that we pre-registered? All
I have is the paypal receipt. Has anyone mentioned what we need to show
to get in?

We will need at least Three forms of identification AND a Library card, Kroger card, Block Buster video card and a major Credit card. PLUS Photo ID and a finger print scan......... OK now you AND Charlie will be chasing me around the track for being a smart A$$ ;-)

I think your paypal receipt will be just fine. PLUS I'm keeping track of everyone via the Contact List. I'll also print out all of the notifications that Phillip has sent to me just in case.

Sea ya' in April

I plan on being there Friday as well and have sent in my 10 bucks to test and tune if I choose to. To tell the truth I am ready to leave right now.
I agree with Bobby. Other than the fact that the car isn't quite ready. I wish it was this weekend. The only bad thing about this whole deal is that it isn't going to be enough time. Hell I want to race, meet evrybody, check everybodies cars out, drink some beer, etc. It is going to be a quick 4 days. Hopefully Rick,Jeff & myself will be in town Thursday before dark. Just aint looking forward to towing through those WVA mountains. Can't wait to meet everybody... :D

OK...

OK, the crewchief is registered. She spent all day mounting gauges and rewiring my entire dash. She's better at that stuff than I am.
