429 Super Cobra Jet 4-bolt main D0VE-A engine block, cast May 12, 1970 (0E12 date code in lifter valley). Has Boss 429 bulkheads which is very rare to find on a factory 4-bolt SCJ block (it is more common on the 2-bolt blocks). This is a 4-bolt main engine block that we bought for our racing program, began to prepare, but we never built or ran it.

Bored and honed to 0.030" overbore (4.39" bore), align-honed mains, cam tunnel align-bored & align-honed for Ford Racing roller camshaft bearings, sonic checked (sonic check sheet included), good to 4.47" bore, etc. Please note the OEM alternator mounting point used by the 1968-1970 Lincoln Continentals has been partially milled away during some block lightening (see pictures). This mount point can still be built up with welding and then reshaped if you need it but most 429/460 engines don't use this mounting point anyway.

In short, this is a 429 SCJ 4-bolt block with Boss 429 bulkheads, a sonic check sheet, and over $1000 worth of machine work in it.

$---. We can pallet and ship.

Block is Sold
