I would do a comp custom EX series cam. 226/234 @ .05. .554"/.574" lift on a 110 Lobe sep. A step up to the XE274H would be allright too. Both cams would keep the hp peak in the 5 to 6k range. The first about 5,200 and the second about 5,600.

They will work well with your stall speed, gearing and weight. "0'' decking the pistons will keep C/R at right around 10 to 1 which is fine.

Thanks, I was considering the xe284h 240/246 .584/.588.

Is this cam too big? Seems about right to me but I'm new to big blocks.

I've always been a 351c guy until I recently saw the light.
