Just finshed up on the assembly on this deal for a freind of mine's Fairmont, now ready for the "pump" within a week. Pretty basic build(TFS Streets, Offy T-Ram with two 650DP Holleys, flat tappet solid cam, Crower Stainless rockers, SRP Flat Top pistons, PEP brand H-Beam rods, early INT. Balance crank). Comp. Ratio worked out right at 12.2 Hoping the HP is in the mid 600 range. Anybody want to take a guess on the HP/TRQ? Also going to try my Offy "single top" with a 1050CFM Dominator. I heard the single top DOM set-up will usually out perform the twin carb top on these manifolds...............

Not without cam spec's and cly. head flow numbers. Nice looking engine.

This is just an off the cuff estimate, and I believe it to be a conserative one. Over 600HP, 550tq. Like I said I feel this is a very conservative estimate, don't even like estimating this stuff, because you can get a turd or a ringer, sometimes, and look bad. When you get it on the dyno, or to the track, it would will be nice, to see an actual number?700hp would not surprise me either. My friends SCJ is close to your cam at 264 at .050" with a .630 lift and 12/1 comp also. We also estimated it around 600hp, but hav'nt dynoed it yet either. His is a flat tappet mech. by the way, and I will ask him about the lobe seperation, but I think I remember it being more like 106 or 108? Love the tunnel ram, that ought to get you 25-50hp more than alot of single quad setups. The single Dominator on the top sounds good, but two 750 Dominators, would look alot better. A couple of 750DP's 4150's if you have a couple to try would be interesting too. I think they would be better than the 650's esp. if in a light car, low gear high stall, ect. type vechicle.

Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, two Doms would be cool but a pain the A with the linkage and mounting them sideways. We have kicked around trying two 850DP's on there as we can get our hands on some. Also a pair of 660 Center Squirters....

Those old 660's used to be quite popular, pretty cool how all 8 barrels open at the same time, and I saw a pair of 850 center squirts go on ebay for around 500 dollars, I did not even know they made them. I also saw a pair of 750 #3310's on ebay that had been converted to center squirt with an oddball 4 leg extended shooter, the secondaries where converted to mech. with two linkage holes so I guess you could ajust the opening rate. They had square bowls too, so you could mont them inline, like you like. If you have a really light car the 850's might work, but it seems overkill. Then again I thought 2 750's would be too much on my 6-71 355sbc, and they worked fine.

I went back and got the ebay #171115100077 on those two 750's converted 3310's, for you. 549 was the starting bid, and no one bid on them, so they might get relisted. I think the guy is a carb. builder. You can get 3310's pretty cheap, and if you can get the shooters it would not be hard to convert your own, just use some 1850 float bowls. I bet you could even do the old screw trick, on the secondary linkage too. Let me know what you think?

660's

Did you tinker with the 660's when you ran them, or used them as is? The set we have acces to have 850 baseplates which Im told help the airflow out on these. Are you using the Weiand T-ram?
