I'm building a pulling truck engine. 3.900 stroke 4.440 bore. ex 514 heads. Like to turn it 8500 rpms. Will a kaase or mellings pump take that kind of rpms?

I know truck pullers turning more rpm than that with internal oil pumps. Proper setup of the oil pump is paramount, as is the rest of the oiling system (etc).

A big oil pickup tube is paramount.....

Lots of oil and good drainback

my 509 EX headed motor has seen as high as 9800 for 15 seconds witha an internal Kasse pump

no debris in the filter yet:D

Paul can hook you up with parts for the oil tube
