so at Windy Hollow in KY Temps were in the lower to mid 90's and humidity was high it ran several 5.98 @ 117.5 and a 5.96 @ 116
its been a best of 9.38 @ 144 in the 1/4 before the suspension was giving me problems and that was with running 6.20s now all of this is on the 100 shot --- it usually runs 6.20 - 6.30 on motor and 9.8 - 9.9 on the motor in the 1/4

will keep everyone updated on the 1/4 mile times

Thanks for sharing the info with us. Don't see too many guys posting about using Edelbrock heads. Would those be the 61649 heads?
Very impressive.

Nick I can see the writing on the wall. You are gonna step up and get a set of them bad azz Pro Comp heads aren't you. :wink: :wink: Dave F. says they rock like nothing else, and would trade anyone straight across for the heads he picked up at the Bash. :lol: 8)

very impressive ....B.T.W. it`s honest info sharing such as this that makes this site the best around. it`s like one big think-tank. everybody
benefits.
hopefully this will more get people to put BBF`S in thier cars instead
of the big chevy`s that are so common by me in the n.j./n.y. area.

I'd sell the E'brocks and get a set of P-51's from Charlie and a cam from Lem. You'll probably have to get the pistons worked for the P-51 chamber and valve layout, but I think you'll pick up some with them.

No problem Jon ---- but lets compare apples to apples !!!!! Blake has a badass ride but he is @ 3000 lbs im at 3300 --- i belive we should put that in the equation ..... plus he has 36 more cubes --- should i go on ----



im not whining yes his car is faster then mine --- but what if i lost 300 lbs and changed my rear end gear to say 4.11 ---- i would have to think it would be a very impressive race --- motor to motor --- and you guys have to understand this is a nos motor ---- not just a h/c BBF and we just decided to add nos ---- the cam , carb , convertor , gear , heads were all designed around the spray....

i believe that my motor can go up against any one of these guys motors on this board ie: blakes , damons, sherry's etc....

Your right Nick, your car is geared and convertered for big spray, I'm not taking anything wawy from it.

I still think Blakes deal with the same converter and gear as you would not really make a difference, that motor is a hoss.

Bruno stick with the Eddies...Your car ran great !!

I'd look into putting the car on a diet, Gearing and convertor before you change the heads. (and the 250 hit)
