Guy's I don't mean to sound lame but what stroke and bore would it take to make a 565. I'm looking at buying a turn key deal for my son and it has a MotorSports block and A460 heads. Just not sure which heads (TFS?FORD)

Depends on which block a guy has in hand...it's all about the sonic check. FRPP says 4.600 but like all castings they vary. The variance is to the high side so lots of them will go 4.625" others will do more and some the rated 4.600".

So its possible that this could be worn out??

It could be worn out if it was a 4.560" bore, not sure I understand your question? What's the piston to wall clearance?

My 565" was built in '93 it has 100's of hours on it and 100's of pounds of nitrous through it. It was honed numerous times after years of abuse and a few holed pistons just this year it received a fresh bore 4.606". The A-460 blocks have a lot of nickel in them the bores are very very tough. If the the piston to wall is high the block can be bored in quite a few steps before maxing out at 4.625 + Sp long as you can get a ring that fits you can bore it many ways, .06, .10., .12, .15 etc
