600" twin turbo **Update 25.5 dyno and some fire**

Now new bult is allmost dyno ready.

Some specs.

A460 block full filled 4.6" bore
Crover custom crank 4.5" stroke
Bme rods
Venolia custom pistons
Reed roller camsaft
Scj heads. Modified combustion chambers.

weiland dual tullelram with custom made sheet metal parts.
16 nozzles with custom made injetion system. methanol
Custom made headers and two monster turbos.

To dyno in 2 weeks. Pretty nice to see what that monster says.
We force ~35psi boost.

Yes I do. I love that video.

Good luck with this engine it should be a monster and 1/2. ;)

Looking forward to seeing the #'s. What compression ratio and what's the power goal ?

11.8:1 is static comp ratio.

Power goal :)
Dyno operator says "we cannot take max power because he`s dyno gona blow up :D

But im happy if numbers are between 1800-2200hp

The words every engine builder wants to hear, just brings a smile to your face ;)

Are you limited to CJ stlye heads because of class ?

Cj heads is only budged reason.
Mayby next year we see same again with bigger turbos and thor genII heads?

In europe modified 950kg class we have only safety and fuel rules. Pump gas, diesel or methanol.
No n02 shots or nitromethane.

Edit:

What comes to power goal. I want more down tq. Old 429 twin turbo was like "on/off" engine. Actual pull rpm was 6000-7500rpm. To 600" i wait for huge down tq and drivetable at 4000-7000rpm

Good luck on the dyno,but you better keep and eye on that valvetrain with that much spring pressure and no stud girdles.

I hope studs can take few runs. Takes 2 weeks to get girdles. They should arrive last week
but not..

Update from workshop:
Injektion is ready and tomorrow startup :)

no offence man. I saw the anti surge on the comp inducer. That usually means Diesel turbo's under 80mm. But ya your right a peak efficieny they will hit close to 2000.
I looked at that route for my car but decided on a single(double gates gets expensive too quick). 98mm. good luck with it. I wish I could have my SCJ's opened up with larger chambers. I know Kaase can sink the seats in P51's and get 85 cc chambers. did you do this in your's?

Its true that bigger comps be better but that model works just fine on my engine.
One setup i use singe 100mm comp. That gave only 1000hp. And other setup i use single 130mm setup. That give near 2000hp but the is terrible lag and very hard wake up that.
Heads came to me stock condition and i spend one week modification.

Long day behind. in dyno 9:00 am - 9:00 pm.
We have promlems with all things :D
Backfire, lean....
We have not any good results..

When all problems solved head gaskets blow out. Nice.. .08 Sre with 041 rings on block.

Only result was 1650nm (1217 ft lb] 4800rpm @ 16psi boost with half throttle, then full thottle and wild messup :D
That tell someting. Boost goal is 35psi.

Now we now what was the problem but day is full. Need some maintenance and then again to dyno.
