Yes, that k-member will work just fine.

Tenative parts list:
Motor mounts/engine plate
oil pan
headers

The rest will depend on exactly what you're looking to do.

If your k-member has motor stands, you can use the conversion motor mounts if you choose to.

That's up to you.

Once again, that's up to you. Your 93 Mustang is your strip car, right? What chassis mods did you do to it? Take into account the power (torque) your 521 is going to have compared to your 93 and decide how stiff of a chassis you're comfortable with. The stiffer the better- some guys don't even do sub frame connectors or reinforce the control arm boxes. Others do a 10 point cage welded to through floor subframe connectors.

Ultimately, it's your car and you can do what ever you want. If you want to leave the p/s, you may have to fabricate to make it work, but that's your option. Do some searching on the internet and see what people with similar combos are doing. Then, see if they have positive or negative comments about the given mods. Base your decision on your research.

Have a good day!

thank you, my 93' is my daily driver the 94' is getting the BB.i was asking if i could run p/s without to much fabrication.the car will have atleast an 8pt. cage.the k-member has the motor mount perches.so i can just get 460 motor mounts and bolt it in right?i know there is a lot more work thn that. i just trying to get the motor and tranny in the car. do a mock up see how it is going to fit and see what needs to be changed.the radiator support, from what i've heard will need to be modified...is this true?thank you for your help.

Since I happily tossed my p/s, I don't know how much fabbing would be needed.

For motor mounts, you'll have to get the conversion mounts- not just any 460 motor mounts will work.

I had to modify my radiator support, but I believe that was because of the size of my radiator (31x19). I imagine a smaller radiator could easily fit without much work and still keep everything cool. Many people do no mods at all on the support. If you take good measurements before buying a radiator, you'll probably be ok there.

okay,thanks... i am ditching the p/s also and i will be using motor plates for it. HP performance told me all i had to do was install the motor with plates,it's alot easier and stiffins the car up better.
