The heads are refresh from JKR & has been fully PRO STOCK Porting new springs(#947 CC) , locks , retainers & seals. Also have the ARP studs. It was on a 589 with 4.560 bore & 4.500 stroke with 6.700 rod & before the PRO STOCK Porting it made 1140 HP. It ran 8.40 @ 161 with 1.20 60 ft. & weigh 3000lbs with me. any Question call me @ 440-622-9045. ASKING $3500.00 NO less , best parts are on them & the BEST worked on them. The car ran in the 1/8 mile @ 5.40 @ 130 .I have $5800.00 in these heads.

Sound like nice heads! Wish I needed that much...

What you replacing them with?


Question, isn't that bore/stroke about 611 cubes?

your right I miss printed the bore it showed 4.650 when it should have been 4.560 , Thanks for noticing that. The heads I'm gonna replace with is the Blue Thunder Thor or get the 18 bolt A-460 heads because I'm going twin 88's or 91's turbos.

Assume you are selling 10 bolt heads - what kind of numbers do they flow on the intake at .800 ??

They are the 10 bolt. The flow is 421 @.800 on intake & the exhaust is 329 @.800. JKR said they were looking for the low & mid lift on the intake & some gained between 20-30 cfm.

Very interested would like flow numbers and valve specs.

The intake flowed @ 421 @ .800 & the exhaust flowed @ 329 @ .800. JKR said they were looking for the low & mid lift gain & they gained between 20-30cfm. The Intake valves are 2.350 & the exhaust are 1.900.

Are they ti or stainless?
They are stainless & I drove this Stang on the streets & cruised 45 miles 1 way.

Are you certain you have the weight/car and hp # right?? Im coming up with 975 hp for 161 mph @ 3000 lbs??

The math doesnt work out:

3000 pounds / 1000Hp = 8.40 @ 161

3000 pounds / 1140Hp = 8.04 @ 169

421 @ .800 isnt Fully Pro Stock Porting as I understand it, are you sure you got your numbers right ??

Are you certain you have the weight/car and hp # right?? Im coming up with 975 hp for 161 mph @ 3000 lbs??
That is @ the rear wheel HP your getting at. Look at this web site ForcedPSI.com/calculator & you'll see rear wheel HP & engine HP.The engine was DYNOED @ Livernois Motorsport , here's the following 589 with 14.5 comp. with stock ports before porting ,276 & 286 @ .050 with .741 & .730 lift with 108 LS & single 1150 Dom. , & made 964 HP @ 6800 & 817 ft.lb @ 4800 , so I know what I have & now it had a bigger cam , 288 & 292 @ .050 with .821 & .800 lift with 112 LS & dual 1050 Dom. Also my Torque converter was way too loose it stalled @ 6600 & I needed to tighten it up between 5600-6000 stall.

IT might not sound right to you but I have the BILLS to show it from JON KAASE RACING , but the heads had int. port cleanup from ENGINE SYSTEM 8 years ago also these are Ford Motorsport A-460 heads & Kaase guys said they were looking for low to mid lift improvement.

We are in NO way bashing you........just when it comes to throwing hp #s out in the 1150 range, there are folks on here that live/breathe this stuff, and when #s dont add up, we get suspicious??

Mph in the 1/4 will "tell all" as far as hp power goes......you could have a bad 60 ft, but it will still mph out the back door.......

I have no doubt those heads are killer from Kaase, who comes on this site.......;)

What did the car run with the engine at 963 hp??

It ran [email protected] & as for the 60 ft. goes I have the 4 link @ neutral cause I don't want to use the wheelie bars. I race once awhile @ Norwalk , Ohio for Friday nite Outlaw races. Like I said the Torque converter was too loose & that probably would make up for lost HP. Trust Me , I Breathe , Eat & Sleep this stuff too & some people don't believe that I drive this car everywhere except for the people that lives around me seen me @ groceries stores & Home Depot.

1140hp?? My C-headed deal only makes 1132hp so I must be doing something wrong!!
I have a friend that make 1226 HP with C-heads that Engine System built for him & that was a single Dom., & they told him to do a Tunnel Ram would get close to 1300.
