Just wondering if I should do more then just a basic port/gasket match. I have the new TFS A heads and the old Motorsport A intake. Should I do anything to the plenum area or the combustion chamber etc? What do you guys do? Going on a street/ strip 557 11:1.

On an 11:1 street/strip deal, I would leave the combustion chambers alone, unless you just want to lightly polish them. The overall shape is correct. In regards to the plenum of the old style manifold, we have found that it may like some degree of spacer under the carb. On bigger race engines, 2" of spacer seemed to make them happy.
