Hi guys. I think this question goes here. When I pulled the 460 out of my '78 Bronco, the alternator was down by the frame rails. Since I've upgraded my fuel system during the build, the new fuel lines come up right there.
This has the L&L bracket kit from the 460 swap. Can I just flip the brackets around so that it mounts higher? Is there a stock bracket I can grab from a junkyard that will bolt right in? I'm not opposed to fabbing one up, but I have about a week to get the motor done, in, and tuned. I don't want to waste a night messing with the welder if I can just bolt something in.

Please advise and thanks!

It's close, but I think we are in the clear. A slightly shorter belt should do the trick.
