Hey all, we were racing at the European Finals @ Santa Pod last weekend - unfortunately had some issues which kept us from making as many qualifying passes as we would have liked and ended up down in 17th on the 32 car field but in round one of eliminations everything except my reaction times came together and we charged to another new PB - 8.59 @ 151 MPH
Reaction : 0.3818 - way rubbish, this is what cost me the round
60ft : 1.2214
330ft: 3.4814
594ft: 5.0678
1/8 ET: 5.4252
1/8 MPH: 125.88
1000 ET: 7.1308
1000 MPH:142.56
1/4 ET :8.5992
1/4 MPH: 151.58

We had fitted wheelie bars for this meeting after the car started to pull wheelies at the last meeting - video below. What isnt clear on the video is that the car made a rather large move towards the centerline after 330ft and i had to lift, correct and get back on it which cost me the race!

Compared to our previous PB the new one is down around 4 MPH at the 1/4 mile mark. Im guessing this is because the car launched harder and the lack of wheelie meant less time building up speed. During the first half of the pass we were around 0.12 up on our 8.68 pass, which dropped back in the last half to 0.09 faster. Not sure if she's running lean through the traps, the plugs dont really show it, but i think next time out well fatten her up one step and see if that helps. We will also be dropping back the tyre pressure, as we had dropped it a little for this run which lead to what felt like a really hard launch.

its real fun to drive. the wheelie bars calmed it down and now she goes dead straight. there is a chute fitted, bit i dont usually use it as the car stops real fast just on the brakes, plus tge runom offs here are real long
