I was thinking of selling my ATV and buying a Polaris Ranger, Kawasaki Mule or JD Gator for the farm, but I have been really looking at those Suzuki mini trucks. Enclosed cab, heater, 4X4, etc. They are half the cost of the others and have some good features. Anybody have one? How do you like it?

Suzuki Carry availablility.

The Suzuki Carry is available from a dealer in Canada.
http://japanoid.com/

Japanese vehicles 15 years and older can be imported into Canada. Dealers like Japanoid add a few things to make them legal here.

I have a buddy who has a 1991 Nissan Fairlady and Skyline both imported from Japan. At 6'3", I can't fit into these rice rockets. I prefer to stick with good old American V8 mountain motors.

It looks like it would be fun to own. Its small enough, that if you got stuck with it, you could just get out, pick it up, and move it over.

Check out the Suzuki Samurai! You can pick those up fairly reasonable! I have 2 Samurai's and LOVE them! One is a rockcrawler and one is just to hunt out of and it gets abt 40mpg.... The stock one anyways! But really, I can take my little Samurai places that you cant go on a 4wheeler, rhino etc.... Plus you have a heater and a radio, hey some even have a/c!!!! And there really cheap to work on!! :) I may be wrong, but i think the one your looking at cant be driven on the street!?

I liked the idea of a dump bed. That would really be handy with feed, wood, etc. The prices I've found are around $4000, not $6400. The samurai looks good. Is it smaller than a regular jeep? I need it to be pretty small to get into places inbetween the brush. How big is the bed on that samaurai? You got me thinking now.

Skosler, My Samurai will fit down any fourwheeler trail you point me towards! The stock one I have is only 58 inches wide and thats fender flare to fender flare! My Rockcrawler is ofcourse wider, due to the big tires! As to the bed? Its not as big as you would probably want, but it will haul a good load! I had a A460 block, 2 sets of heads and 2 sets of gears in mine with no problem :D .... And i'm 6'2" and have no problem fitting in it! Also the soft tops can be removed in under a min, by yourself, and the doors can be removed.... Like I said, I love mine, which I usually just haul around a cooler full of beer in mine, when i hit the trails! 8)

Aw ok... Thanks guys, never posted a pic on here before! That one has the 2 piece hardtop.... The bed doesnt look like much, but with no back seat you can put a pretty good load in it, (as you can tell in the pic) looks like I have a 500lb fat chick riding in the back! :p
